Unit 2: I also enjoyed this unit, since it helped us understand how to write for a business setting, and writing for the unit basically gave us a resume and cover letter that we could use in the near future. I don’t have any suggestions for this unit.
Unit 3: I feel like this unit went by really fast, so a suggestion for this unit would be to simply make it longer.
Unit 4: This unit is one that absolutely terrified me, since it was the first writing assignment that I have had that was required to be over 2 pages, where double spaced 7000 words is about 28-30 pages, so the shear number of pages overwhelmed me, and the writer’s block also basically stopped my progress on that paper. I think to make this unit more bearable, it should be done later into the semester, after a few 1+ page assignments had been done. …show more content…
Unit 6: To be honest, most of my portfolio editing took place within the past 4 days, because I was working on getting previous work done, so maybe give this unit some extra time as well.
7: Overall, even though I’m not the biggest fan of writing in general, I did very much like this class. The unit order is fine, but I feel that the pacing in the first 2 units were a little slow, then the later units went by faster and faster, so in the later units I started to feel rushed, finishing work for one unit while another unit’s work is due. I will say that I still had a great time in this
