Stephen Paddock, 64-year-old a retiree committed one of the deadliest mass shooting in United States history. He was a gambler and lived a quiet life with his girlfriend in Mesquite, Nevada. He perched Mandalay Bay Resort window on the 32nd floor with a hammer allowing him to have a clear angle on the concert which held 22,000 people. The Gun man had 17 assault rifles and a hand gun in his suit. Police later found 18 additional firearms in his home also some explosives and a large amount of ammunition. Later in the investigation they found ammonium nitrate which is a fertilizer that is used in making bombs, in his car. He killed 59 people and injured 527 people. Some of the firearms that the gunman had were modified to shoot automatically which is regulated in the United States. Many of the people in the crowd thought that the gun shot were fireworks but found out that it wasn’t when they witness people bleeding from the neck gushing blood everywhere. The gunman suicided before the police had the chance to stop the madness. The Islamic State a terrorist organization claimed the attacked but there was no evidence behind those claims. He criminally murdered 59 Americans and injured 527. The gunman illegally modified his weapon to shoot automatically which increased the massacre that night. Moreover, he obtained substance to create bombs which is illegal under Federal Law. The media unethically portrayed this event on mental health issues rather than gun control also they didn’t view this man as a terrorist but an act of evil. The hotel should have been aware of his suspicious movement when check in. The hotel staff let this individual bring in 17 weapons in a hotel without noticing anything
