Dynamic assessment is designed for children, it is an interactive assessment which identifies the skills that each child possesses, as well as determining each of their potentials. The dynamic assessment procedure emphasises the learning process rather than measuring strict intelligence as it is at the time. It is a more personal way of testing children without exposing them into intense questioning. In dynamic assessment, a skill is tested, then taught and then retested. With this procedure, you are giving the individual the chance to learn the skill or knowledge being tested. It is highly interactive and process oriented.
