A lot of people today find it difficult to begin and maintain a healthy life. For adults and kids going through mental health challenges, the side effects from treatment, their symptoms and attitudes from friends and everyone around them can make healthy living difficult for them and those taking care of them. Also, it is believed that those set of people having mental health challenges may find it difficult to communicate, concentrate or even remember what they have said. What I mean by the word factor is anything that can increase the likelihood of injury, disease, or other health problems. For instance, the risk factors for heart disease may add up to an history of heart disease in your family, stress, a high fat diet, smoking, lack of exercise and being overweight. All these factors stated are prone to increase a person’s chance of developing heart disease. Although your behavior can influence some of the risk factors, while other factors cannot be influenced.
Controllable Risk Factors Simply put; these are factors which something can be done about. Your behavior can influence and control such factors. Components of health
There's more to being healthy than being free from disease and physically fit.
