My Self Assessment

After finishing the self-assessment, I've got to know what is important to me and what is not. In my opinion, developing personal values are essential and take time. To do so, first, I have to analyze my value based on my interesting and beliefs. Second, I have to put effort and time to improve weakness area to achieve the level of success that I want. Furthermore, the self-assessment gave me the chance to know what are my top three values, which are family, spiritual, and financial. For me, family comes first. I like to spend much time with my wife and daughters even though I have a busy schedule. I guess this is because I lived in a collectivist culture in Saudi Arabia. As a result, I tend to be a conformist and will likely feel comfortable in an organization with a high culture. I worked for a company called Mobily, and it has a strong culture. I have noticed that the operating policies and roles are designed with one goal to encourage teamwork, training, and authority sharing between employees. Working in an organization with a high culture like Mobily will give me a chance to work in highly active teams that creates synergy and increase productivity.

Diversity
In the self-assessment of the Big Five personality, my scores were high in the agreeableness (high need for affiliation) and adjustment. As a result, I tend to embrace diversity and get along well with people who are different from me. In fact, I enjoy working with a variety of people. My last job at Mobily has given me the opportunity to work with several people from different countries. I have got to know some of their cultures, religious, and type of foods. The benefits of embracing diversity are that people bring different perspective, knowledge, and skills.
