A Night game drive is a unique activity that is usually conducted under the powerful beam of a red-filtered UV light and spotlight. This is a great time to support a range of nocturnal wildlife that is generally unseen during the daylight hours like Aardvarks, cape hares and bush babies. The thrill of catching the glinting white reflection of a predator's eye will most likely send shivers up the back of your neck.
While on a night game drive, the feelings and the smells of the savanna become completely different compared to day time. The savanna becomes quieter with all plain game being more alert and watchful as the big cat predators prepare themselves for the night hunt.

Your vehicle will be equipped with spotlights, which can be used to illumine the bush for likely sightings. After driving for about an hour and a half, your guide drops you back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay

The sunset drive departs at 5:00pm and lasts at least 3-4 hours. Guests leave the camp to enjoy an evening game drive coupled with a classic Basecamp sundowner of carefully selected drinks, enjoyed under an acacia tree as the sun sets over the savanna.
