Congratulations are in order! Graduation is due to take place on May 26, 2015. This will be a ceremony to honor you, the student, for your completion of all requirements of the Board of Education and maintaining of a satisfactory record of good behavior. Students will wear caps and gowns and have their names read to the entire audience. This is an opportunity for staff to honor individual and class achievements.
In order to assure positive outcomes at senior activities, maintain the dignity of the ceremony and make it the meaningful event which parents, grandparents, faculty and the graduating class desire, the following requirements must be agreed upon by each senior and his/her parent or guardian even if the senior is over 18 years old:

I understand that participation in senior class activities and the graduation ceremony is a privilege and is voluntary.
I understand that if I violate school rules or receive a suspension from school at any time during the school year, I am subject to removal from any or all senior activities including but not limited to Senior Picnic, Jr./Sr. Gala, Senior Trip, Grad
Night, Senior Breakfast and the graduation ceremony.
I understand that if I become classified as a non-grad, I may not be allowed to attend or participate in senior activities, including Senior Picnic, Jr./Sr. Gala, Senior Trip, Grad Night, Senior Breakfast and the graduation ceremony.
I understand that I am responsible for knowing sales limits, dates, and deadlines for all school activities, including Jr./Sr.
Gala, Senior Picnic, Senior Trip; and that I am not guaranteed a ticket to any of these events.
I understand that if I participate in a “ditch day” I may lose senior privileges and activities, including participation in the graduation ceremony. Students not showing up for school on a “ditch day” will not have their absence cleared for that day unless they have a doctor’s note showing an appointment on that day.
I agree to pay all debts which I owe Florin High School and return all checked materials as required before I can participate in the graduation ceremony or receive my diploma.
I will follow the directions for senior class activities and the ceremony.
I understand that I am required to attend all of my classes during my senior year; and that my attendance may impact my eligibility to participate in senior activities and the graduation ceremony. nd I understand that I must pass five classes during 2 semester (earn 25 credits) to participate in the graduation ceremony. While students earning fewer than 25 credits may graduate, they will not have the privilege of participating in the graduation ceremony.
I understand that a senior student who receives an off-campus suspension from school in the second semester or 3rd and 4th terms will be notified in writing that if a second off-campus suspendable offense occurs, he/she may not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. Moreover, any senior student who receives an off-campus suspension within the last 20 school attendance days prior to the date of graduation may be denied the privilege of participating in the graduation ceremony, even if that off-campus suspension is the student’s first off-campus suspension during his/her senior year. In addition, if a student receives an off-campus suspension that falls on the day of graduation practice or of the graduation ceremony, that student will not be allowed to participate in graduation.
I will attend all rehearsals scheduled for the graduation ceremony. I agree to adjust my work schedule and my other obligations to meet the rehearsal schedule. In
