Looking back at all we have studied this term, what are one or two things that have an impact on you and why? From the beginning of the term, I really want to be sincere in mentioning my emotions after studying the Emotion Intelligence course. I feel happy and I found the course content organized. It also encouraged more peer engagement and this can be witnessed in the Unit 4 partnership project where we shared our personal profiles with our partners. I will therefore not only share one or two things as per the question but rather, I will summarize all that I have learnt which will have an impact on me as follows; Defining Emotional Intelligence and understanding it, I learnt about base and dimensions of Emotional and Social Intelligence, Intellectual, Social, Cultural, and Emotional Factors and Intelligences, Jungian Personality Self-Assessment, 16 MBTI Preference Profiles, Emotional identification, perception, and expression at work and at school, MBTI preferences and perception, and provision & receipt of feedback, Developing leadership skills of empathy and task orientation, Introduction to Non Violent Communication, Motivation styles through theory and practice, Feedback as a leadership tool, Self-assessment, Self-awareness, self-management, empathy, and relationship building, EI tools: Non Violent Communication (NVC) and SCARF framework, Application of EI leadership methods, Needs assessment and EI, SWOT analysis for personal development and Action Planning, SMART objectives and SMART planning, Emotional contagion, Individualized and finally the Group Action Plan. …show more content…
