One reason why I believe Obama’s plan is a bad idea is because it’s unfair for people doing the right thing. I think this because there are 480,000 family based visas each year (American Immigration, 2014).This is showing people that according to obama’s plan, 480,000 legal immigrants would get punished. Many people would say obama’s plan is unfair. As Marco Rubio stated “The president's actions now make all of this harder and are unfair to people in our immigration system doing the right thing” (PBS, 2014). Just like Rubio, I think making it easier to let illegal immigrants come to America makes it less likely they will do the right thing by becoming legal.
