It was 06:52 and the majority of the student population was settling down and getting their bags ready for first rotation. I was sitting at my desk quietly reading a book, hoping to survive for the eight more minutes before the first rotation began. The morning in the classroom walked the same path as it did everyday, with a bright and sociable attitude. Except maybe for a speck of anti-social, by which I am speaking of myself.
Suddenly the door opened and Mr. Fenderson, the school's principal, walked in with a girl sporting the palest eyes I've ever seen.

Mr. Fenderson frowned and his eyebrows furrowed, then he sighed.
"Miss Talia, I expect you to show some respect to all your seniors and superiors. We do not accept delinquents here at the West Continent National high school."
A brilliant idea occurred to me. I immediately straightened my back and masked my face with the most serious expression I could muster. I added a tone of sarcastic subservience to my voice and said, "Yes sir, Mr. Fenderson. Would you like a side of tea and shoe shining to go along with that utmost respect that you've ordered?"
It was a close, but most of the laughs were restrained. There were a few leaked snickers from students around the room but none of them wanted to have to deal with the warden Fenderson.
At first glance it appeared as if there was no reaction in his face, but I noticed a crack in his stoic mask as his eye twitched once and his teeth clenched lightly. I looked over at Reality as well, and there seemed to be no change whatsoever. maybe she was even better at concealing her emotions than Mr. Fenderson. Or maybe she actually thought that joke suck. Ah, well nothing could be done about it
