People might think that saying the Pledge of Allegiance is stupid because we say the same thing everyday, but it doesn't have a meaning. Everybody that is fighting for our country is trying to save our lives because they care, all we have to do is show them respect, that we are grateful for what they are doing. Solders show support and respect for our community, so we should do the same. The flag is more important than people think it is. By examining the risks that soldiers take to fight for us and our country, and the respect that we should have for our soldiers, and the support we should show for our country

Being respectful to them shows that we care and that we are grateful, and what they are doing is good but can be bad. Knowing what can happen to them and always being respectful when we see them. When solders come home after fighting for us they don't want to listen to the disrespect that people have, they are choosing to fight for us and they don't need the disrespect, so if you see a solder at least tell them thank you for your service and show that you are respectful and caring. Some people might think that we already show enough support just by being there, but no we don't. the Pledge is one way we can show support to our soldiers and our country. Not only that, we show loyalty, and that shows support. When we get asked to stand up to say the pledge, we are honoring the soldiers that have come and gone. Also every part on the flag means something like the white on the flag stands for innocence and the red means hardness and valor and the blue signifies justice (Contributor). Therefore, the flag plays a really big part in our community. Some people can argue that saying the Pledge everyday is a waste of time, but it’s really not. It shows respect for our flag and our soldiers and community. Like when we stand up and take our hat’s off at events just to listen and sing to the national anthem shows respect. Therefore, I think the Pledge of Allegiance should be required in schools. The risks that
