Police brutality is caused by a variety of circumstances, including difficulties such as a lack of an officer's humanity, insufficient training, and an officers' racial views. When officers believe they will not be held accountable for using unnecessary force, or when they lack sufficient training in de-escalation and cultural awareness, they are more likely to use aggressive techniques. Furthermore, issues such as inequality and racism fuel police-community tensions. This includes a harsher punishment, officers who use unlawful force should receive the same punishment as anyone else. Police officers need to know that they are not above the law. It would also be beneficial to rework the police training programs. If an officer is too trigger happy, they should not be able to wear the badge. Every cop should pass 100% of every test it takes to become an upholder of the law. Sadly, changing a person's racial views is not as easy as taking a test. That is a problem that might not ever be
