Fear is one of the biggest contributors of racism especially from loss, which causes a person to see difference between the two people and is seen as threatening what as what they see as their rights. And lack of of self love,feeling of unworthiness and desire to feel superior people who are the most racist tend to be people who lack confidence, self esteem and most of all self love. A racist person throw all negative feelings onto others that are seen as weak and vulnerable. Racism can affect people in other ways it can effect someone self-esteem. It can destroy communities and creates divisions within society. Racism can take a toll on people they can't get jobs they want to they can't education they want they're less likely to get the job they want, or not to get hired for the job they want to. The social issues are just "22% percent of Americans support letting universities consider applicants race as a fact or, and 76% percent oppose the practice the proportions supporting racial preferences were similar for black 19% and Hispanics 29% as for whites 20% nearly 60% of Asian adults have a college degree, compared to 43% of whites but just 27% of blacks and 19% of Hispanics". This effect black and Hispanics because they the universities will most likely accept Asian or white over black and Hispanic so that affect some races than others races. And it affects some races than others such as getting not getting good education, and not being treated equally and it hurt a lot of people just to make it in the world people think that one race is superior than other and that led to a lot of discrimination and feeling like there not needed.
