In my experience with release techniques, I have a difficult time with letting go of my body. For example when we were paired up and they have to move our bodies for us. At the beginning of this exercise, I would find myself helping Jordyn move my body. Towards the end of the exercise I slowly released more and more tension and allowed her to move me. Throughout this article, Daniel Lepkoff discusses a lot about images and how they can help you move differently. At the beginning of class we have been playing around different imagery and at the beginning, I could not actually see the images. After working with this idea for a few days I realized that I started to actual see the images. An example of this would be when we were in the cylinder. I could not only see the actually cylinder, but I imagined it being under the ground and being cold. I have found it interesting how after we perform each exercise we discuss what our image was and they are all so different even though we were given the same image. This image exercise has been strange for me because I usually cannot see the image, also trying to figure out why I imaged this item this way. This has had me thinking is the image we see and put ourselves in something we are experiencing or something that we are about to
