Greetings Principal Harrison-Coleman,
I have a strong interest in maintaining a position as an Afterschool Coordinator at Malcolm X Elementary School. I believe that my career goals and educational background will make me a strong asset to your professional staff. While at Dillard University were I received my Bachelors degree in Public Health/Health Systems Management, I stayed active by serving on class council and Student Government for three consecutive years, as well as being appointed as Mister Dillard University 2008-2009. Serving my local community has always been a passion of mine as I was also a founding member of The Collegiate 100 Black Men of Dillard University, whose mission is to mentor and help uplift the “youth of tomorrow.” Throughout my collegiate years I was involved in numerous mentorship programs from Love Impact LLC, Freedom School Scholar and Volunteer 2 consecutive years, Kappa League of New Orleans, Algiers Charter School and Miller McCoy Academy (All male charter school). These experiences aided in my passion to help serve inner city youth with mentorship and guidance that may help inspire and motivate.
