This is about one of the most brutal times in history for African Americans but some of the greatest and most well known people in the world had made a name for themselves in this time period risking their reputation,life,and careers to have freedom for themselves. A woman refused to give up her seat to a white man and made a statement and that let anybody sit where they want and they wouldn’t have to get up for another person. Also a preacher giving speeches and inspiring people to stand up for themselves if they ever get harassed by white people. An amazing baseball Player showing people that African Americans can play baseball as good as them. A little girl showing that anybody can go to a school and be just as smart as them. And a woman helping slaves escape the scarce(ly) grasp of there slave owners hands and being free showing them that she could help them in a time of need that’s what this is going to be all about.

Ruby Bridges was a 6 year old girl that went to a white school and proved that black people can learn as well as white people. On Ruby’s first going to a white school she was escorted by U.S. Marshalls. Lots of white kids dropped out of the school (because) of Ruby. In 1999 she created the Ruby Bridges Foundation to promote peace and tolerance for all in the world. She soon Became a Great Person

When Jackie Robinson was getting a petition signed only against him by all the Dodger players so he could not join but that didn’t work. He was the very first African American to be accepted into the Hall of Fame in baseball History. Amazing(ly) was also a six time all star. Also he was a all out great person and amazing baseball player and (because) to this day is the whole reason that African Americans are allowed to play in the MLB is because of Jackie Robinson and will remembered by
