My Self Leadership Before you can become a good leader you must have the values of a leader. Throughout your life you need to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses to know what’s right or wrong . Becoming an ideal leader is not something that I am able to do overnight, but it takes time. I think that my greatest strength is being able to say no to people who are pressuring me into doing something unacceptable. For example going to smoke a cigarette behind the school when we should be in class. Also, I am no longer sidetracked by the criticism of others and what someone thinks of me because I chose to be a leader and do what is right. I don’t always know what to do in every situation, but that’s when being able to make mistakes is acceptable. I occasionally have to remind myself to be myself and focus on what I need to do to become a better person. When I was in middle school I always had issues getting along with my teachers.
I never knew when to shut my mouth. Every time my teacher said something that I didn’t agree with, I would argue and try to have the last word. I saw many of my classmates being disrespectful and arguing with our teacher. My classmates influenced the way I acted towards my teachers. I’ve learned from that experience, I am able to control myself and take full responsibility for my actions. When I am at home it is easy for me to be a leader. My little sister always has trouble
