Service learning is a community service that require activities that apply to personal and academic development, such as: classroom preparation, readings and how it relates to tying service experience of learning goals. I will say that service learning, volunteering, and community service are all related because it all involves in volunteering. Service learning is more related to the student learning in the classroom and outside the classroom, giving them hands on experience and at the same time helping the community in the process. Volunteering is when you decide to give your time on your own free will, not expecting to get anything in return. I looked around at my group and was second guessing myself on completing the task because it was only fifty volunteers. The organizer gave us instructions to start an assembly line and people were spread out and we were all giving one task. My task was to tie the backpack and place them in a box that was on a pallet. The organizer gave us one run through and we started the project. We worked for a couple of hours and before we knew it, we had reached our goal. Teamwork played a major role in my service learning experience in order for the job task to get done, we needed a number of people to come together and work to complete the project. One person could not have completed the task in that window frame. This projected needs team players. There was a point where we ran out of can meats we had to communicate to the team to stop the assembly line. We had to try to locate more canned meat. Once we got the canned meat we started to work again. I also had to show and tell a young lady that how to tie the bags correctly. The bags had to tie tighten so the food would be compacted in the
