They are not only hurting them, but hurting the families that they attacked and their own families as well. Children that are violent or have violent actions are showing lots of signs. For example that they need help or they need attention at home from their family. Andrew Wurst, 14 year old boy, brought his dad's gun to his 8th grade graduation dance and the plan was to take his own life. He then turned the gun to one of his classmates and killed him. He took the plea deal of 3rd degree murder and had 30-60 years in jail. Andrew was obviously upset and hurting and to get the attention he needed he acted violently. Juveniles that commit crimes like adults should be tried as adults. The Craig Price case is the complete opposite of that. Craig Price was arrested a month before he turned 16. He was accused of killing people in his neighborhood and was found guilty. He was tried and convicted as a minor With that being said by the time he turns 21 he will be released from jail but if someone that was considered an adult made those same crimes they would be sentenced to life.
