Sleeping later into the morning will help children concentrate better, resulting in better grades. Teachers always yell if someone is sleeping during class. Having school start later will result in not having them sleep during their classes. From sports the night before, athletes might not have their homework done, but if schools would start later students will not have to meet the consequences of not finishing their homework. Children can get to school without having to get everything packed in a hurry. Eating breakfast is good for you. With more time in the morning, you would be able to eat a more nutritional breakfast. When you rush out the door trying to get everything you need for school and accidentally miss something like homework, teachers will say that is no excuse and give you a zero. Early in the mornings the students brains don’t work the same as they do when they are more awake. Students getting better grades will make the teachers look better because they actually know the information given to
