Both speeches “Is it a crime for a Citizen of the United States to vote?” by Susan B. Anthony and “Freedom or Death” by Emmelie Pankhurst describe the effect on why women should have the right to vote.

According to Anthony, a woman should have the right to vote because it is not only a crime to not let women vote, but it's her right to vote.
