Task B – ERR
1.In my contract there are many terms and conditions which are covered. This includes holiday entitlement. After I have finished my 3 month probation period from the date I started. I will be entitled to take 20 days holiday. Some days may have to be saved for over Christmas. Two weeks’ notice is required to book annual leave and 72 hours’ notice when requesting individual days.
Absence due to illness or injury payment is available if you are off for 3 days or more. At the mangers discretion. If I was to receive statutory sick pay it would be a percentage of my wage.
My salary of £125 is paid monthly into my bank account via BACS.
I work 40 hours per week. From 8 am to 6 pm, 4 days per week. I have one day of for home studying. Also all members of staff are required to attend all out of hours, meetings, staff planning, parents evening, summer fayre, Christmas party, staff evenings out and training sessions.
There is also a disciplinary procedure. This happens if management consider that the company rules are not being met; or if an employee was failing to fulfil the requirements to a satisfactory level. If this happens further action may be taken, this happens in stages. Stage one; a verbal warning would be given. This would be recorded and kept on file. Stage 2 is if further action is still required a written warning would be given. Stage 3, a final warning shall be given. This will indicate that if further conduct of the same nature, in a certain time period, was to continue it would result in dismissal. Stage 4 in the result of continued failures to meet the required standards, notice of termination will be given.
2. the information which must be shown on your pay slip include, name, national insurance number, tax code, hours worked, pay rate, gross pay, net pay, national insurance contributions and BACS.
3. Two changes of personal information which must be reported to my line manager. These include name/address, personal matters that can affect my employment like pregnancy and involvement with the police.
