Recently there have been many school shootings and some think the remedy to this issue is further protecting schools by allowing teachers to be armed with guns. Teachers are at school to teach not to be armed with guns. They are not ready for this kind of responsibility, “The vast majority of teachers want to be armed with textbooks and computers, not guns,”(www.schoolsecurity.org). Many teachers, in fact the majority of them do not want anything to do with a gun. This statement is of a lot of importance.
