Distractions Texting while driving is a big distraction when you are on the road and it can be really dangerous to you and or people driving around you. Even when you are not looking at the phone and you are listening to what someone texted you or talking to someone on a call, it still takes your attention off the road so you are not as aware of what is happening on the road in front of you. Texting while driving can lead to a crash and or can have someone killed.
Texting while driving is a major distraction and can lead to a crash nnd or get someone killed.
Lots of people die from texting or being on a call while driving. In 2011 at least 23% of all auto collisions involved cell phones, that’s 1.3 million crashes in one year, caused by phones. Texting while driving increases the risk of getting into a crash by a lot, even dialing someone's number increases the risk of getting in a crash by even more. Sometimes you could be talking of listening and still get in a crash or even just be reaching for the phone to answer a call or reply to a text.
