The outsiders novel and movie are quirky and interesting. The movie has slight variation from the novel. The novel and the movie have some things in common, but not all. The novel and the movie pose a multitude of things in common. One representation is Johnny, Dally and Bob both die. All the relationships are almost the same. The movie had the same characters as the book. Johnny still broke his back in the movie. Both the movie had a bundle of similarities, but there are still differences.
