We have a problem with our country, we are just handing out guns to people. We need to have strict laws on which people can get their hands on a gun. Take Germany for example, they go through many psychiatric tests before the can get a gun. No school shootings over there compared to the US.

We need to end gun violence before the united states end up banning guns completely. Families won’t have protection if only the criminal has the weapon.
I want to be able to protect my family when I have one. I don’t want to be vulnerable to attack when I’m just taking a walk. This issue is big to me because people can end up doing good things with guns.
Guns are a tool to protect or hunt. It is people who abuse that power not guns. The only way we can make Utah safer is by not giving bad people that power. …show more content…
School shootings only happen because the wrong kids get their hands on their parent's weapons. It’s the parent's faults for not keeping their guns and their kids in check.
There was a school shooting that happened in Florida February 15, 2018. Over 17 people were killed by Nikolas Cruz. April 20, 1999 Columbine High School went through a school shooting. 13 people were killed because of two students. The vegas shooter successfully killed 58 people at a concert. These all have something related, the shooters were all troubled. They all had something mentally wrong with them. With this evidence, we can help find which people are not allowed to have guns.
The shooters were all troubled at some point in their life, if not then they had mental problems which should have been checked when purchasing guns.
I’m asking not to have guns taken away, but stricter laws to make it hard to purchase guns. We need to make it hard so the good people have guns so they can protect themselves and the people around
