In just a few minutes, the whole abode was empty. The only thing that remained were the three siblings. They were frightened to death, but they had nowhere to hide. They didn’t know what to do at this point. Just as expected, the kidnapper came for them next. He starts by going after Sage, the oldest of the siblings. She ran and dodged his every move. “You can’t catch me! You can’t catch me!” Sage teased. She kept running around in circles to distract him from her younger brothers. She was acting brave, trying to help her brothers feel safe, but she was actually terrified inside. Eventually, he gave up on Sage and started to go for her younger brothers. “Pax, you keep running left and I’ll keep going right!” Max screamed. They had been waiting nervously, pacing around the room, crying and hoping that someone would come to save them. Sage did her best to comfort her little brothers, but they become more and more distraught as the time went on. They were too young to understand what was going on. Even she could not figure out a reason as to why this was happening to them. In the midst of the confusion, the door suddenly opened. There he was. Standing there, staring at them with a huge grin on his face. Sage gulped and held on tight to her brothers.
He snatched all three of them up. The siblings began to cry, unsure of what their future holds. Next thing they know, they are back in their home. The kidnapper has disappeared. The whole house has been spotlessly cleaned and even beautifully reorganized. The siblings look around their home, checking to see if there were any clues about what had occurred, but there was nothing. Sage hugs her brothers, “I love you both! I told you guys we’d be okay. I told you we’d come back home in one piece.” she says enthusiastically. There was a moment of relief shared amongst them. The three fish lived happily ever after in their tank, like nothing had ever
