At the moment I don’t think I’ll ever want kids. Sure they are cute, fun to cuddle and toss up into the air, but that all changes by the time they are two. At this point parents still have to deal with random crying, but now they can throw a tantrum. Not only that but they think they know everything; whether or not their parents can buy them things, if they will get hurt doing something, and of course they think they know what’s best for them to eat. Parents will tell themselves that all of this will change when they get older, when they are teenagers they will understand, but are teenagers that much different? A lack of sleep. Teens and toddlers both need more than the average amount of sleep to function properly. Without such sleep they will become irritable and fight even more.
Now let’s be fair teenagers are going through a tough time, what with work, school, or the continuous looming of upcoming college debt. These things can eventually lead to teens suffering from the same random crying toddlers face. The biggest difference here is that teens hate their parents. They will never tell them about their problems, and if parents pry they will just end up with the above as their result. The biggest reason these teens refuse to talk or simply listen is probably the most annoying thing about them, their ability to know everything. At least that is what they think. This is just another characteristic that has followed teenagers from childhood, and again teenagers have spent time developing and evolving this tactic.
