Training Principles & Methods Specific to Fitness Components and To Physical Activities
Investigate a 6 week training program aimed at improving Two Fitness Factors and a focus on one energy system being predominant in a particular sport of your choice. In your report you must include the following:
Q1) Describe and explain the two fitness components which are the focus of your training program. Also explain how they are relevant/important for success in your chosen sport and provide examples.
Q2) Detail the energy system that the program will predominately be working on. Outline how the system resynthesises ATP and any advantages and disadvantages of using this system predominately.
Q3) Prepare a training program in table format outlining how many sessions per week and include what training principles will be incorporated to ensure development.
Q4) Describe and explain two training methods that the program will focus on outlining their benefits and importance to developing the key components you are working on.
Q5) Outline 2 possible fitness tests that will be used to monitor/measure fitness development whilst detailing how they will be performed and reliable and valid results.
