You can buy your books used, brand new, rent them or on a site that offers them at a cheaper price. Unless you like to write in the margins of your textbooks I highly suggest that you rent or buy them used to save as much money as possible. Keep in mind that your college store will have almost all the materials you may need but they will charge at a higher pricing. Next is to check for materials that are needed for your required labs. Depending on your class you may buy your supplies in either bulk or separately, but usually, your school will supply you with what you need for a lab. Another optional material to buy is a planner to help keep yourself in check with all your assignments, school or outside activities. Writing what you need to do assists in reminding yourself what you still need to finish or any details that could be needed to finish another task. A reason many students tend to fail a course is due to falling behind in the class and may not be able to keep up or it will be difficult from that point on to catch up. It can affect your grade negatively in the long run. Try to always be organized like keeping a planner it writing it down to not forget anything
