This region is called the tropical zone and the torrid zone. ... The meaning of word ‘Tropical’ is places near the equator.

The tropical region has many highly aesthetic landscapes, and a large range of outstanding landscapes including rainforests, seashores, wild rivers, waterfalls, rugged gorges, mountain peaks and volcanic crater lakes.
