Malala and the Human Rights document/speech both speak upon equality and freedom. In Malala’s speech she uses a lot of repetition by saying “I” over again. When Malala is saying this she is trying to speak out. She is trying to have the listener hear what she is saying. In the Human Rights document it repeats the words “everyone” or “all” by getting their point across that everyone is equal. Malala’s speech does use the phrase “We call upon” in six sentences. She stood up for her rights and what she believed in. In the country she lived in, women do not have the rights that women in the United States do. Women can not go to school. Malala did not like that fact. She wants to learn. She doesn’t want to sit at home doing what women had to do. What did Malala do? She stood up for herself, and for women who wanted the same.
