In Shakesphere’s play Romeo and Juliet, two lovers who come from different royal families with equal power have a forbidden love. Their lives ended early due to the feud between the two royal families and not being able to be together. There is one person in this story that is to blame for both of their deaths for trying to help them stay together, and that is Friar Lawrence. It was foolish of Friar to help Romeo and Juliet stay and run away together because his plan risked Juliet’s life and also Romeo’s life. First, the Friar gave Juliet a potion that would kill her and he had Juliet tell her parents that she would marry Paris. After Juliet drank the potion, she caused her family and the kingdom to be in great depression because of her ‘death.’
