As we live our everyday lives, we often forget to stop and think about how blessed we truly are to live in a country such as ours. America and the people before us passed many gifts down to the generations of today, including our freedom, opportunities, protection, and the act of respect. We are very fortunate to live the lives that we own, together sharing all of those wonderful gifts that our country holds. Our acts of respect come from our examples, the forefathers and early people of America. We as American citizens need to share that respect, and pass it down through the generations to come, just as the generations before have done.
