What is America's gift to my generation? When I hear that question my first thought that comes to my mind is freedom education and technology . I believe that education is a very valuable gift to my generation, but without freedom we would not have the right to a free public education. Without the right to a free public education, would we know the world like we do today? I strongly believe that technology has a major impact on how we see things, such as how we communicate with one another. when i go to a grocery store i always see somebody on their phone whether it's shopping, or looking for directions. Technology is everywhere.

America has something most countries don't have. We have freedom. It's a gift we often take for granted. Without freedom you couldn't wear what you wanted or marry who you wanted. I go home sometimes and watch the news and i don't realize what i have untill i see how other people are suffering in other countries. When i get older i would like to travel the world and help people in need, if we didn't have freedom i could probably not do that. There is also another very important gift that america has given us, and that is the right to a free public education.

Without the right to a free public education we might not know what we do today. When i get up in the morning i turn on the light, and without thomas edison's education i might not turn on a light in the morning i could not even have a lightbulb. Everything really revolves around freedom, without freedom we would not have the right to a free public education. Without the education we get today we wouldn't have the technology that we
