According to the article, the Third Parties are like gadfly. They stir up some discussions but they are rarely taken into serious consideration.
3) Why do you think Third Parties are unable to compete against the Democratic and Republican Parties?
People have no faith in Third Parties, as the Third Parties rarely show up, also as they are relatively small comparing to the two Major parties, they are lacking a lot of resources the major two Parties have, hence they stand no chance competing against the two parties.
