Summary
Billy lives on a farm in the Ozark Mountains. For a very long time he has wanted to have a dog, his parents offered him to get a puppy from the neighbor’s litter. But Billy only wanted two coonhound dogs, but his parents couldn't afford it. Once Billy was in his grandpas store and he saw a magazine, he started reading it then he saw a an ad for red coonhound selling at Kentucky Kennel selling for 25 dollars each. After he saw the ad he decided he would start working everyday. Billy's job was to sell vegetables to the fisherman, though most of the time he saw the vegetables thrown into the bushes, but the fishermen understood that he needed the money. However,
