The guest of honour must have great ambitions to ensure the world is utterly obliterated, along with enough power to subdue all of Disney’s other villainous characters. Hades, the ruler of the Underworld and the god of the dead, is most worthy of this position considering his personality in the movie, Hercules. Hades is undeniably the most important guest amongst all the villains as he is a manipulative individual, a natural-born ruler, and a trustworthy character.
While Hades lacks power physically, his meticulous ways leave him no weaknesses when it comes to his intelligence. Hades acknowledges that he is weak, thus, manipulating others to achieve his goals. The most notable examples are the Titans who were imprisoned by Zeus eons ago. As a result, they have developed a deep sense of hatred towards the ruler of Mount Olympus. He is fit to be a ruler as he maintains his composure during any crisis. Hades learns of the threat Hercules will be in the future and orders for Pain and Panic to turn Hercules into a mortal so he can be killed. Hades’ servants fail to feed Hercules the last drop of the potion and Hercules retains his god-like strength. Hades is initially angered when he realizes that his plan fails but reverts back to his calm self. In a composed manner, he alters his plans and creates many new ones to murder Hercules, such as using a women to seduce the boy. Because Hades remains composed throughout many disastrous events, he will naturally handle the consequences of the dinner party and solve any problems that may arise calmly. Instead of dawdling on his failures, Hades regains his composure under many stressful situations and ambitiously pursue his original objectives. Hades has the necessary composure needed to be a leader therefore many villains will choose to follow
