Andrew Jackson is defined as an American hero famously known for being the 7th president of the United States. There is no question about his authority and his impact on our young nation. Jackson fought to enforce power and law in our nation using the force bill and helped bring our nation back to the common people. However, Jackson should not be viewed as a hero as he has done horrible things to ruin our country. His malicious acts have plainly exceeded his good acts which is why Jackson did not help our nation whatsoever. His presidential term brought down our nation, but thanks to other people we recovered from them. He was the perpetrator of the Indian Removal Acts, he destroyed the bank, and he used the Spoils system. Is this really the hero that everybody thinks of? The one who will bring our nation into catastrophe. …show more content…
This bank benefited the nation by drastically boosting the economy and wealth in our nation. The bank transported money (about $30 million) from the west to the east which boosted our industry and business but it was bringing wealth to our manufacturers (Clay National Bank). This money helped our American manufacturers and boosted business which was what we needed at the moment. The bank was destined to bring us to a healthy economy, but Jackson closed it because it did not benefit poor farmers. But now since the bank has closed, it will bring on economical catastrophe upon us. The young West needs lots of money from the bank along with vast resources to build up more money from business (Clay National Bank). The closing of this bank can possibly bring the US down to an economical depression. All thanks to our one and only hero, Andrew
