This quote was taken from famous renaissance artist Leonardo Da Vinci, who is often considered as one of the first animal rights activists, a man beyond his time. While there are many great people that have followed in his footsteps, there are others who see it fit to experiment on animals, as if they do not also have life, and feelings. Imagine a poor defensless animal being dragged out of its home, for some silly experiment. If someone as great as Da Vinci could see the wrong-doings in cruelty to animals, why can’t we? Animal testing is wrong and is crulety to animals, therefore should be more acted against then for. Animal testing should be classified as abuse, or cruelty to animals. According to Wikipedia, animal abuse is the unintentional and intentional harm to animals, whether or not it’s against the law, and testing on animals is just that. Most animal testing consists of harming the animal, or breeding the animal to purposely create health issues.
