Officer Carranza recognized the subject from a prior domestic violence incident. Officer Carranza responded to the girlfriend's residence to determine if a crime had occurred. Officer Carranza spoke with the girlfriend, who confirmed the crime had not occurred. Officer Carranza confirmed that the subject made suicidal statements prior to leaving his girlfriend's residence.
