At WFP.org, (United Nations World Food Programme) I discovered that Asia is the continent with the largest quantity of hungry people. They hold two-thirds of the world’s total. Southern Asia’s situation is casually decreasing, which is great to see, but unfortunately, the western portion of the Asian continent is increasing in hunger and each day passes by. Affected by little water that is also just plain filthy, and no food sources around the area, these people will continue to suffer if nothing is improved. Another statistic I had found was that poor nutrition causes nearly half (45%) of deaths in children under five - 3.1 million children each year. This is unreal, and as soon as possible, needs to be addressed and focused on
