Many students say that summer is the best time of year. In most places, school lets out in May or June, meaning summer break begins. Some students don't spend summers at home, nor at camp like usual. Instead, they are in school. All students should be enrolled in year-round schools. A purpose for having year-round schooling would be to reduce the students and teachers stress levels. They have less stress when they go back to school after a short break and they become more eager to learn. According to a writer at Youngstown State University, “Students in Iceland, Finland and Ireland all attend class for fewer hours and days yet score higher in math, science and reading.” Students in year-round schools tend to remember what they learn better.
