Did you know summer vacation began 120 years ago? Summer vacation has been around for a long time, we would not want to ruin this tradition with year round school, would we? Year-round school is only operated on 4% of public schools. Kids deserve to have a big break to rest and have fun! During the summer kids can get jobs to have money to spend, kids can play with friends and make new friends outside of school, but with year-round school they will have to be around with the same kids all the time. With a summer vacation kids and their families can plan a nice relaxing long vacation for them and their kids, with year-round school they get little breaks throughout the year which doesn’t give families enough time to plan and go on a relaxing
