Animals are tortured and even killed every day because of animal experimentation. According to Justin Goodman, many …show more content…
There were policy changes for PETA by medical professionals because of training tools that are much more effective then animal testing. (Bender A.1) Many different articles and the results of a number of experiments show that animal testing is not as successful as new technology is. All of the experiments involving animals are far from perfect. “The experiments rarely yield a complete picture of all potential byproducts. Metabolites that are highly water-soluble, for example, are easy to miss, as they quickly disappear in conventional solvents. As a result, chemists are left relying on a process that veers uncomfortably close to guesswork.” (Ericson n.p.) Scientists work to perform different tests on animals meanwhile some of the results are inaccurate and involve guessing. The new experiments are very exact unlike the tests performed on animals. John Ericson states that the new information produced by the latest experiments is more accurate then the animals tests because they are made to react like a human’s body other than an animals. The scientists use a chemosynthetic liver instead of an animal’s liver and get very precise results. (n.p.) The use of a man made liver is highly effective to all scientists. Clearly, the results of animal testing are very inaccurate and the tests are …show more content…
Everybody knows that animals are being hurt and tortured through animal testing but no one knows to what extent. The physical and mental pains brought upon these animals are unthinkable. We harm innocent, breathing, and thinking animals just to get results of a test; meanwhile the results aren’t even close to accurate. The new technology will always be more accurate and will continue to increase in use over the years instead of animals. Finally, the negative effects of the experiments most definitely overcome the little bit of information that might come from harming these animals. Hopefully new technology eventually brings animal experimentation to an
