Research Paper Over various years, it has been extremely important to implement body cameras due to various problems that have taken place in our community. Due to the large platforms of social media, body cameras have been a major topic for citizens due to various footage that has been released of good and bad behavior of law enforcement. These videos create various feelings within the community whether it be angry or confused, so it is extremely important to keep the topic of body cameras on police officers in mind. The author is trying to convey to the reader that many citizens have felt unsafe around law enforcement when a camera is not present due to previous incidents of prejudice made by the police. This evidence is significant because in order for our community to feel safe, law enforcement should implement certain measures to make sure all citizens feel safe in their community.
