Have you ever wondered what it takes to make a catapult out of popsicle sticks, rubber bands and tape? Well i did until me and my team were challenged by Mr. Okamura. This project was about trying to make a catapult out of limited materials and with limited time. This project is also about how we used the Engineering & design project in the building of our catapult. This project is about how we used the engineering process and we used it in many ways.
How i used the ask process in building the catapult was really simple but helpful for a project. What were the main ideas in ask process, well the first one is. Constraints how did i use this step? well, I used this step by asking the teacher what are the limits of things, for example materials,

The first part is “Learn from what worked in previous steps”. Our catapult worked at the beginning and we observed what worked and what failed. Because of this part 2 in improv was easy. We did this because if you don't observe this we would not know what works and we might make what works already not work thinking it's the side that did not work. The next part is “Learn what does not work”. Based on what works and does not work maybe if your catapult is symmetrical and one side works and the other doesn't you should mimic the side that works to the side that does not work. After doing that you catapult should be around the standard that you want it to be. We did this because if you don't you might go blind into a project with a side that is weak and a side that is strong making your marshmallow (or whatever you are using) go flying of track. Once your sides are symmetrical you should be set for the project. The final part is “Improve your design based on previous performances. This step is very important to perfect your catapult. Think of how the catapult performed and think of ways to make it perform even better than it used to like adding improved stability for example. The reason why we did this is because you can get extra credit for example i could get a 10/10 on this project but if you continue to improve you could get 25/10 which is extra
