Equal Pay Act 1970
Which stated that everyone should be paid equally be it men or women as the job is evaluated as the same in decision making, skill as effort. This act needs to be applied in my job where both employees do the same job but are paid differently.

This act prohibits direct or indirect discrimination due to colour, race or ethnic origin. Direct discrimination is treating one less than the other while indirect discrimination is where conditions are imposed which opens more opportunity for one group. In Dubai, indirect discrimination or direct discrimination are openly seen on job adverts where specific nationalities are requested to apply for the job and qualification is not of great importance.
