Physical health can benefit from healthier food options. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about one in every five children aged from 6-19 are obese. Furthermore, chronic health diseases and conditions, such as sleep apnea, bone and joint problems, asthma, heart disease risk factors, and type 2 diabetes, are at a higher risk for children with obesity. Obviously, children could bring their own lunches with the food they choose, but if they eat the more nutritional food, the better their physical health will become.
