Fight for 15 National Day of Action begins with fast worker’s protest at McDonald’s across the country.
Hundreds of fast food workers, along with local Fight for 15 members, have demonstrated at McDonald’s in multiple cities starting from 6:00am.
Chicago and Brooklyn experienced notable actions. o In Chicago, activists dropped a 30 ft banner from Chicago L Station near the intersection of N Western Ave and W Armitage Ave. Following the banner drop action, protestors briefly blocked traffic while holding signs. o In Brooklyn, NY, more than 200 labor activists protested marched in downtown Brooklyn, blocking traffic and carrying banners. The protestors also demonstrated at McDonald’s.
